Your responsibilities will also involve coordinating discharge planning with case management, collaborating on initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and patient care quality, and accepting patient referrals from other physicians.

SCHEDULE:

  • Regular business hours with occasional on-call and weekend duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide treatment using appropriate medical diagnostic skills.
  • Collaborate with case management to coordinate discharge planning for patients.
  • Recommend and actively participate in initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and improve the quality of patient care.
  • Accept patient referrals from fellow physicians and serve as a consulting physician for those requiring hospitalization due to primary medical diagnoses.
  • Ensure thorough documentation that meets insurance company requirements and promptly appeal any denials.
  • Engage in inpatient and outpatient consultations within your specialty, including potential participation in on-call schedules.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System.
  • Possess a DEA number.

SALARY:

  • A highly competitive annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 per year, reflective of your extensive experience and outstanding qualifications.
