As a key player on our team, you'll provide exceptional medical care, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and administer treatments to our valued patients. Your role extends to coordinating discharge planning with case management, collaborating on initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and patient care quality, and accepting patient referrals from fellow physicians.

Your expertise will be pivotal as a consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses. SCHEDULE:

  • Regular business hours with occasional on-call and weekend duties.
  • Flexible scheduling options available to ensure work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical treatment of work-related and urgent care illnesses and injuries;
  • Chart all patient transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work with and communicate with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the delivery of high quality medical treatment and quality customer service.
  • Assist management in identifying, analyzing, and resolving work problems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing clinical methods and procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Comply with applicable regulations and with Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality assurance for all medical issues and assist in the solution of any medical problems.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Communicate staff suggestions and/or complaints to Medical Director.
  • Assist clinical staff in understanding and complying with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree from an Accredited University.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System.
  • DEA number is required.
  • Knowledge of medical practices related to work-related illness and injuries.
  • Knowledge of medical policies, regulations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instructions.
  • Skills in developing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

SALARY:

  • Highly competitive annual salary in the range of $140,000 to $180,000 per year, based on your extensive experience and outstanding qualifications.
