SCHEDULE:

  • Regular business hours with occasional on-call and weekend duties.
  • Flexible scheduling options available to ensure work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients presenting with various medical conditions or injuries.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and minor procedures within the scope of urgent care practice.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds, to aid in accurate diagnosis.
  • Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient encounters and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and standards of practice in urgent care medicine.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advances and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or another relevant specialty.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in state.
  • Proven experience in urgent care medicine or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical skills with the ability to handle diverse cases and emergencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

SALARY:

A highly competitive annual salary ranging from $300,000 to $400,000 per year, reflective of your extensive experience and outstanding qualifications.
