Urgent Care Physician Needed in Delaware, Missouri

Position Overview:

A leading network of modern urgent care centers is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urgent Care Physician to join our expanding team in Missouri. Our clinics provide a full spectrum of walk-in care for patients of all ages, offering immediate treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries in an efficient, convenient, and high-quality outpatient setting.

As an Urgent Care Physician, you’ll work in a well-supported environment equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic tools, fully staffed with trained medical assistants, radiology technologists, and advanced practice providers (when applicable), allowing you to focus on patient care—not administrative burdens.

Salary: $280,000-$300,000 per year + benefits

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, timely medical care for acute illnesses and injuries
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including X-rays, EKGs, and labs
  • Manage care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (PAs and NPs) as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation through our integrated EMR system
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain compliance with clinical protocols

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Missouri (or ability to obtain)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
  • Current DEA license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • At least 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in urgent care, ER, or high-volume outpatient settings
  • Comfort with a broad range of in-office procedures
  • Experience in occupational health and workers’ comp
