Urgent Care Physician

Job Title: Urgent Care Physician| Arizona

Location: Goodyear, Arizona

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $280,000-$300,000 per year + benefits

Position Overview:
As an Urgent Care Physician, you will treat a broad spectrum of medical conditions, from minor injuries and illnesses to more complex urgent issues. You will work with a team of advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to diagnose and manage a wide variety of clinical presentations in a walk-in setting.

Job Duties:

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses and care instructions
• Document visits accurately and timely in the EMR
• Work collaboratively with the urgent care team to ensure efficient and quality care

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification
• Previous urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and multitasking skills
