Full-time Positions Available for Mental Health Therapists at a thriving outpatient psychiatric office in Bayonne, NJ

We have full-time positions available for dedicated mental health therapists to join our thriving outpatient psychiatric office.

Our practice focuses on treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our patients through evidence-based interventions and personalized treatment plans.

We offer a sign-on bonus.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Salary:

$80,000 to $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to address common mental health concerns and provide a sense of community.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and adherence to professional boundaries and ethics.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
