Full-time Clinical Mental Health Therapist Needed at Our Psychiatry Office in Kenton, OH
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our premier psychiatrist MD outpatient practice. Our practice is renowned for providing comprehensive mental health services to a diverse clientele. As a member of our team, you will work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will play a vital role in conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support our patients' mental well-being.

Work Schedule:
We understand the importance of work-life balance, so you will be working during normal business hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Monitor and track clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.

Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.

Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to inform treatment approaches.

Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mood disorder treatment.

Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting de-stigmatization of mood disorders and advocating for their mental health needs.
Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current and valid licensure as an LISW, LPCC, LIMFT, or PsyD in the state.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
