Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist Needed to Join Our Outpatient Psychiatric MD Practice in Hiawatha, KS
Our dynamic psychiatric office is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team of mental health experts. We specialize in providing comprehensive care for individuals with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, mood, personality, and trauma-related disorders. Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Occasional evening shifts may be required.

Salary:
$75,000 to $100,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological well-being and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs and diagnoses.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address patients' emotional concerns, promote personal growth, and enhance coping skills.

Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

Assist in crisis intervention and offer support during mental health emergencies.

Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.

Stay up to date with current research, best practices, and relevant regulations in the field of mental health therapy.
Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current and valid license as an LCSW, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC, LCMFT, or PsyD in the state.

Two years of post-licensure experience preferred.

In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care.

Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans.

Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using a variety of therapeutic approaches.

Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships.

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
-
Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
