Full-time/Part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at a School in Watertown, CT

We are actively looking for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our team of educators, counselors, and support staff to ensure holistic development.

Work Schedule:

Full-time/Part-time position following the school calendar, flexible scheduling, with occasional evening and weekend hours for school events and parent meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
  • Assess students' mental health needs through observations, interviews, and assessments.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment.
  • Provide short-term and ongoing individual counseling, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
  • Conduct group counseling sessions addressing topics such as bullying prevention, stress management, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address behavioral concerns and develop interventions.
  • Support students' transition planning and facilitate referrals to community resources.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as needed.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions and workshops for students, parents, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

$60,000-$100,000 per year + Bonus
