Full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Needed at Correctional Facility in Chino Valley, AZ

We specialize in addressing the mental health and psychosocial needs of incarcerated individuals, providing assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and reintegration support. Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings to accommodate facility needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate inmates' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy, addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, anger management, and reentry planning.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups addressing topics such as relapse prevention, anger management, and life skills.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning within the correctional environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for inmates.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience working in a correctional or forensic mental health setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mental health disorders, substance abuse treatment, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and boundary-setting skills.

Salary:

$60,000-$80,000 per year
