Seeking Full-time Mental Health Therapists for Psychiatrist MD Outpatient Office in Lorain, OH

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 9 AM-4 PM

Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Educate and support patients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in the mental health field.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (LIMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state.
