Firefly Support Groups Counseling Center is seeking applicants for full-time mental health therapists.
We excel in providing comprehensive mental health treatments and evidence-based therapy at Firefly Support Groups Counseling Center. Our purpose is to help people overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression by nourishing their personal growth and resilience.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please keep in mind that scheduling flexibility may be required on occasion to meet the requirements of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive clinical evaluations and develop customized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and solution-focused treatments.
- Use proven therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and others.
- Maintain exact and private clinical records while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Encourage strong collaboration with a treatment team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health specialists.
- Actively engage in routine case consultations and peer review sessions, helping to improve the quality of treatment we give.
- Educate and assist patients and their families, providing them with important knowledge about mental health disorders, treatment choices, and community resources.
- Keep updated on the most recent research results and innovations in the field of mental health to ensure that our practice is educated and up to date.
Qualifications:
- Hold a master's or doctorate degree from an approved university in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
- Keep an active license in the state to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psychology.
- Use your knowledge in solution-focused psychotherapy treatments and strategies to tailor your approach to each individual's specific requirements, giving tailored and effective care.
- Exhibit great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exhibit good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
