LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR POSITION AVAILABLE FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our practice. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in psychology or social work and a license from the state. Clinical experience is also a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with patients to determine their status
  • Develop a course of therapy for treatment
  • Meet with patients regularly and provide them with the tools they need to overcome their issues
  • Provide references to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW in the state.
  • Minimum of four years related experience.
  • Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy.
  • Experience delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay:

$70,000 to $100,000 per year
