Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist Wanted at Our Dynamic Therapeutic Clinic in Hillsboro, OR

We are actively looking for fully licensed mental health professionals to join our mental health team. Our Dynamic Therapy practice focuses on addressing mental health concerns prevalent in the geriatric population, including depression, anxiety, dementia-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. You will work with a team of dedicated Dynamic Therapist and contribute to the enhancement of the quality of life for our elderly patients. Join our team where we provide specialized mental health care to elderly individuals facing a range of therapeutic conditions.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Salary:

$75,000 to $100,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering the unique needs and challenges of older adults.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account cognitive changes, physical health, and social factors.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, to address geriatric psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with geriatric psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving elderly patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.
  • Stay informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in geriatric psychiatry.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state.
  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and interventions.
  • Experience delivering individual and family therapy to older adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build trust with elderly patients and their families.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
