Full-time Mental Health Therapist Needed to Join Beaumont Mental and Wellness Center in Seattle, WA

If you are a passionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist, we invite you to join our Psychiatric Office, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness, resilience, and personal growth among individuals seeking to reduce stress and enhance their overall well-being.

We specialize in mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to help individuals cultivate awareness, reduce stress, and develop effective coping strategies. You will guide clients in practicing mindfulness techniques, facilitating self-reflection, and promoting emotional regulation. By incorporating mindfulness into therapy, you will help individuals to find balance, manage stress, and live more fulfilling lives.

We offer a sign-on bonus.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients seeking stress reduction, relaxation, and enhanced well-being.
  • Conduct initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and goals, and tailor mindfulness practices accordingly.
  • Guide individuals in mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to promote self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional balance.
  • Facilitate group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.
  • Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions to address clients' specific mental health concerns and support their overall growth.
  • Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness practices into a comprehensive treatment approach.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans.
  • Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice, self-reflection, and ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in MBSR.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state.
  • Some extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.
