Full-time/Part-time Mental Health Counselor (MHC) Wanted at Advocate Aurora Behavioral Health in Fort Worth, TX

Bring your strong time management and communication skills to our Walnut Creek clinic as a Therapist You are an integral part of a patient’s journey, to help change their story, and lead to positive outcomes. In this patient-facing role, you will provide therapeutic treatment, using CBT/DBT and ERP Therapies in individual, group, and family settings. This position is working with our child/adol patients and their families; with cross training opportunities to work with adults. Gain supervision hours towards Therapist Licensure while you work in the role. Fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, working in different programs, such as Depression Recovery and OCD/Anxiety. PAID training and ongoing education/trainings for career development and licensure/certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Bring your strong time management and communication skills to our Walnut Creek clinic as a Therapist You are an integral part of a patient’s journey, to help change their story, and lead to positive outcomes
- In this patient-facing role, you will provide therapeutic treatment, using CBT/DBT and ERP Therapies in individual, group, and family settings
- Fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, working in different programs, such as Depression Recovery and OCD/Anxiety
- Therapists must participate in weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director, supervisor, or lead therapist
- Therapists must complete medical record documentation within agency requirements of time related to treatment plans, outcome assessments, psycho-social information, and other pertinent patient care data
- This includes but is not limited to the documentation of mental health services according to applicable local and federal regulations and state payor expectations
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in relevant field, required.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state
- Experience in counseling for at least 2 years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
- Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
- Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
Salary and Benefits:
- $80,000-104,000 The caseload will be based on availability and experience.
