Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments to understand clients' substance abuse patterns, mental health status, and therapeutic needs.
  • Design tailored treatment strategies addressing addiction and associated mental health concerns.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-backed methods like CBT and MI.
  • Engage closely with a diverse treatment team comprising physicians, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic client care.
  • Offer guidance and education to families, fostering their active participation in the recovery process.
  • Uphold stringent confidentiality standards while maintaining meticulous records in line with regulatory mandates.


Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise or specialized training in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment.
  • Familiarity with evidence-driven practices for substance abuse and concurrent mental health conditions.
  • Demonstrable therapeutic acumen, adeptness in building client rapport, and motivating individuals towards recovery.
  • Stellar communication and collaborative aptitudes to synergize with the treatment ensemble.
