Position Overview:

As a Mental Health Counselor, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, offering individualized counseling and support. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to gain insight into clients' backgrounds, challenges, and goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on strengths and resilience.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Foster a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop coping strategies and build skills for managing stress and adversity.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Salary:

$115,000 to $130,000 per year (full time)
$63,000 to $65,000 per year (part-time)

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health counselor (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in mental health counseling.
