Position Overview:

As a Mental Health Counselor, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, offering individualized counseling and support. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to gain insight into clients' backgrounds, challenges, and goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on strengths and resilience.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Foster a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop coping strategies and build skills for managing stress and adversity.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Salary:

$115,000 to $130,000 per year (full time)
$63,000 to $65,000 per year (part-time)

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health counselor (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in mental health counseling.
