Position Overview:

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing therapy and support to clients experiencing various mental health challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote clients' well-being and resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' goals and preferences.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients to explore coping strategies and develop skills to manage symptoms effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Salary:

$115,000 to $130,000 per year (full time)
$63,000 to $65,000 per year (part-time)

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health therapist (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field of mental health.
