Join our prestigious psychiatrist MD outpatient practice as a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services to our diverse clientele. Full-time position with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
Safe and therapeutic environment. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to addiction treatment.
Salary: $115,000-130,000 a year
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor and track clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to inform treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mood disorder treatment.
- Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting de-stigmatization of mood disorders and advocating for their mental health needs.
- Valid license as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT
- Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy/Social Work and current licensure
- Qualifying experience with learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and social / emotional disorders
- Have an understanding of California Law and Professional Ethics
- Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
- A current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
