Responsibilities:

As a full-time Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments for adults.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current in the field.
  • Contributing to our team through participation in social media activities, consultations, professional development opportunities, and more.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling

Qualifications:

To be considered for this full-time onsite position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent
  • Maintain active registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Carry appropriate professional liability insurance.
  • Be willing and able to commit to a full-time schedule at our corporate location
  • Proficiency in administering assessments, scoring, and report writing for clients of all groups (children, teenagers, and adults).
  • Exhibit professionalism, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Uphold high standards of professional ethics, clinical judgment, and decision-making.
