Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor Available
We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our practice. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in psychology or social work and a license from the state. Clinical experience is also a requirement.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
Meet with patients to determine their status
Develop a course of therapy for treatment
Meet with patients regularly and provide them with the tools they need to overcome their issues
Provide references to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists

Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW in the state.
- Minimum of two years related experience.
- Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy.
- Experience delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.
- Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality.
Salary:
$115,000 to $130,000
