Full Time Mental Health Counselor Needed at Northwestern Health System

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals
  • Administer individual and group therapy
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations
  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions
  • Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community
  • Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy
  • Document therapies and treatment
  • Assist with direct patient care as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required (Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling)
  • One of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Must have two years of professional experience.

Salary:

$115,000 - $130,000 a year.
