Full Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor Needed at Rush Behavioral Care Center

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing counseling services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining detailed clinical records. Job Types:
- Full-time Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess family needs and facilitate appropriate linkages for families to community-based services.
- Work within a crisis driven environment with a knowledge base of substance abuse and addiction, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and mental health conditions.
- Provide education to other members of the team around clients’ psychosocial stressors and needs, to ensure positive outcomes for families.
- Document patient medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas is required.
- Proven experience in providing counseling services to a diverse clientele.
Salary:
$115,000 to $130,000 a year.
