Looking For Full Time Mental Health Counselor at El Centro Behavioral Center

We are growing and have more clients than we can handle. We know that the worst part of any therapist’s job is notoriously the non-clinical work, and we want to make it easy for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical consultation to clinical staff about mental health issues for various patient populations, including geriatric and substance use disorders
• Interpret and communicate necessary information regarding patients and families including social history information to staff and providers
• Coordinate planning, make recommendations, and facilitate decision-making concerning individual patient care plans especially regarding the home situation
• Plan treatments and review provider cases
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree required (Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling)
• Must have the following independent licenses: LMHC, LCSW or LMFT
• Ability to effectively and efficiently complete progress notes after client sessions

Salary:

$115k - $130k a year.
