Full-time/Part-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor Needed in Rochester , New York.

Job duties include working with patients of all ages and providing crisis response services to agency clients as needed. Job Types:

• Full-time Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Detailed Tasks: Responsibilities:

• Conducts mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, assessments, and follow-up care.
• Determines and coordinates disposition of patients for appropriate level of mental health care.
• Completes required statistical reports.
• Collaborates with the Department of Correction to ensure access to patients, proper housing, and treatment disposition.
• Coordinates patient care with other institutional programs.
• Leads group treatment on mental health observation units and other units as assigned.
• Completes all required documentation.
• Participates in clinical supervision with Clinical Supervisor at least once a week
• Participates in mental health and medical rounds as assigned.
• Participates in case conferences and treatment planning for patients receiving and being considered for mental health treatment.
• May conduct psychological testing as assigned
• May supervise social work interns or student volunteers as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Unit Chief, Assistant Unit Chief, and/or Clinical Supervisor.

Salary & Benefits:

• Compensation is between $115,000 and $130,000 per year.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), (LICSW-R), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
