Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW,LMFT,LPCC)
Looking for a compassionate and helpful Mental Health Counsellor that truly wants to help and improve people's lives. You will offer psychotherapy to our older clients to help them deal with life's challenges. Listen to and understand your clients' needs so that you can provide the necessary assistance and resources while managing various circumstances at the same time.

Job Schedule : Full-time

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess senior clients’ needs and develop strategies to help
  • Provide support and resources for clients; research and refer clients to resources if available
  • Listen and provide counseling or psychotherapy sessions for adults or senior clients
  • Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for the diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental illness. Participates in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs. Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
  • Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records. Chart members treatment and progress in accord with state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards. May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
  • Provide Telehealth therapy with clients

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field required from an accredited college or university.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word)
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in this state are required. We currently cannot accept applicants with an associates license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
