Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW,LMFT,LPCC)

Needing a compassionate and supportive Mental Health Counsellor who honestly wishes to help and improve people's lives. You will deliver psychotherapy to our older consumers to help them cope with life's challenges. Listen to and understand your clients' needs so that you can provide the necessary assistance and resources while dealing with numerous conditions simultaneously.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for the diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental illness. Participates in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs. Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
  • Assess senior clients’ needs and develop strategies to help
  • Provide support and resources for clients; research and refer clients to resources if available
  • Listen and provide counseling or psychotherapy sessions for adults or senior clients
  • Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records. Chart members treatment and progress in accord with state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards. May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
  • Provide Telehealth therapy with clients.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field required from an accredited college or university.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word)
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases
  • LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in this state are required. We currently cannot accept applicants with an associates license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
  • Geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
