Full Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

Schedule: Full Time

Your Role :

  • Write clinical reports, develop treatment plans, and consult on complex cases.
  • Document patient care, monitor progress, and adhere to ethical standards and reporting mandates.
  • Makes recommendations to the care teams, effectively communicates, and collaborates with the patient and all disciplines involved in the care of the patients.
  • Develops a treatment plan incorporating standard practice guidelines for each diagnosis. Provides therapy, supportive therapeutic counseling, and education to assigned individuals.
  • Provide on-call crisis services and emergency consultations during workdays.
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal and substance abuse history.
  • Evaluate suicide risk with clinical precision and proper documentation.
  • Offer crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and interviews, including in challenging physical environments.
  • Collaborate with medical and support staff to comprehensively diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders.

  • Efficient use of electronic medical records.
  • Proficient electronic mail communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in windows applications.
  • Knowledge of Co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to commute to and from veterans' homes for on-site visits (as needed).
  • Experience in the following areas is highly preferred: Mental Health Assessments, Community Outreach, Substance Abuse, and/or Welfare.
  • Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program
  • An independent license in the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) from the USA
  • Ability to manage a large caseload, and to interface with large providers and support staff.
