Job Description
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT,LICSW) needed.
Those with serious mental illness and other co-occurring disorders can receive outreach, basic assistance, individual and group crisis counseling, public education, and referral information from the counselor. Excellent engagement skills, a desire to change the world, and ideally some familiarity with technology and the internet are prerequisites for success in this field.
Schedule: Full Time and Part Time
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide culturally sensitive, mental health and substance abuse counseling to individuals and groups, along with case management
- Consult and collaborate with clients, case managers, and internal/external providers to coordinate client care.
- Maintain timely administrative and clinical records related to client care, per standards specified by RAMS policies, clinical standards
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Provide consultation to HSA staff concerning client care.
- Participate in case conferences, clinical team and staff meetings.
- Participate in individual & group supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide work readiness and learning needs assessment to clients, including determining psychological test battery from referral information

- Complete psychological assessment reports, including providing vocational recommendations and feedback to clients, as appropriate for client’s comprehension level
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine a client’s suitability for work assignments, counseling or other referrals.
Qualifications:
- Social Work License Required per State Regulations.(LMHC, LMFT,LICSW)
- Experienced with a variety of psychotherapy modalities, familiar with a wide range of mental health disorders and diagnosis such as MDD, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, grief, etc.
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting and tolerate interruptions required
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a Third Party.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or similar disciplines
