Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW,LMFT,LPCC)
A mental health worker supports the patient's therapeutic treatment plan as a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Must be able to operate as a clinical team member and provide hands-on patient assistance while handling emergencies.

Job Schedule : Full-time or Part time

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, and counsel students (individually and in groups) in a variety of health related concerns, including mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Provide drop in crisis counseling to students in distress, and conduct crisis interventions and assessments as necessary.
  • Assist in the evaluation and response to student support referrals that come through Maxient. Update records on Maxient as needed.
  • Develop and maintain confidential patient records in accordance with applicable standards of practice and federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Provide professional development, training, and outreach to students, faculty, and staff on topics related to mental health
  • Provide consultation to students, faculty, and staff regarding concerns, mental health issues, and best practices for supporting students with psychological issues.
  • Plan, implement and deliver mental health services and mental health treatment to students in support of wellness, academic success, and retention (e.g. mental health outreach and prevention events/activities).

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent.
  • LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in this state are required. We currently cannot accept applicants with an associates license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
  • Geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word)
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with multiple cases
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision

Pay and Benefits:

  • 80k-122k/year. (For Full time)
