Full Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

As a certified mental health practitioner, we provide group therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and individual treatment for adults, kids, and teenagers. A wide range of integrated services, such as treatment for substance misuse and services for children and families, include mental health treatments.

Schedule: Full Time

Your Role :

  • Facilitates psychotherapy groups for children, families and multi-family groups using psychoeducation, discussion, and group process.
  • Provides or arranges for case management services as appropriate to create multi-systemic support for children and families.
  • Maintains active communication and works collaboratively with the child's family and support network, including childcare providers, school-based professionals, correctional team, child welfare providers, parents and/or foster parents as appropriate. Coordinates services with other affiliated agencies and meets with community partners as needed.
  • Understands and incorporates principles of Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) into practice.
  • Participates in training/CEUs in order to maintain licensure, develop best practice approaches to treatment
  • Participates in clinical supervision, QA review of documentation, and personal goal tracking highlighted in yearly evaluation. Attends a minimum of 2 hours individual or group supervision per month.
  • Shares specialized knowledge and experience with Adapt’s treatment team.
  • Understands and incorporates developmental needs of children and/or adolescents into service delivery approaches.
  • Adheres to agency policies and procedures, including Ethics statements.
  • Possesses strong typing and computer skills necessary for regular documentation. Highly efficient has a personalized system to enhance and document client contacts.
  • Provides direct mental health treatment, including screen, evaluate, diagnose for mental health disorders, develop treatment plans, provide age-appropriate psychotherapy and document appropriately.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program
  • An independent license in the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) from the USA
  • Ability to manage a large caseload, and to interface with large providers and support staff.
  • Proven passionate about impacting lives and the future of behavioral care
  • Efficient use of electronic medical records.
  • Proficient electronic mail communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in windows applications.
