Full Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT,LICSW) needed.

Throughout the continuum of care, the Mental Health Therapist offers psychosocial mental and behavioral health services to cancer patients in all relevant domains, including diagnosis, living with cancer, recurrence, end-of-life, and survivorship. is a patient care paradigm that centers on offering psychosocial assessments, supportive counseling, support groups, therapeutic interventions, education, and information about community resources to patients and caregivers.

Schedule: Full Time

Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate both traditional and alternative therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide a mix of in-person and remote counseling sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups, as required.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and other innovative methods tailored to client needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatments and integrate applicable findings into practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care to clients.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or similar disciplines
  • Social Work License Required per State Regulations.(LMHC, LMFT,LICSW)
  • Ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.
  • A superior communicator, who shares information readily and concisely, listens as well as gives advice and respects the abilities of others.
  • No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a Third Party.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
