Full Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT,LICSW) needed.

For cancer patients across the continuum of care—diagnosis, living with cancer, recurrence, end-of-life, and survivorship—the mental health therapist offers all facets of psychosocial mental and behavioral health therapy. is an approach to patient treatment that centers on giving information about community resources, supportive counseling, psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, support groups, education, and counseling to patients and their caregivers.

Schedule: Full Time

Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a mix of in-person and remote counseling sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups, as required.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and other innovative methods tailored to client needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatments and integrate applicable findings into practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care to clients.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate both traditional and alternative therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or similar disciplines
  • Social Work License Required per State Regulations.(LMHC, LMFT,LICSW)
  • Ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.
  • A superior communicator, who shares information readily and concisely, listens as well as gives advice and respects the abilities of others.
  • No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a Third Party.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
