Part Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

The job will primarily be concerned with community stabilization, making sure program participants have access to resources that promote their general well-being, fighting for the defense of individual rights and dignity, and enabling people to realize their own ambitions.

Schedule: Part Time

Your Role :

  • Complete and document risk assessments and safety plans
  • Ensure documentation is completed same-day for each person who may be at increased risk of crisis service interaction
  • Complete critical incident reporting form within 24 hours when indicated
  • Carry after hours phone on an alternating basis for care coordination support
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Work proactively with participant to avoid use of crisis services
  • Complete and maintain crisis alerts for coordination with county crisis services for participants
  • Coordinate and document hospital/inpatient service transitions and program transfers when necessary, including care coordination with hospital staff to support discharges.
  • Effectively utilize crisis de-escalation skills to support all individuals, including milieu support as Clinician of the Day

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive mental activities required. Examples to include but not limited to the use of educated judgment, communicate thought clearly, maintain calm demeanor in crisis situations, be an empathetic and effective listener, and flexible analytical and interpreting skills
  • Ability and willingness to triage priority with tasks and delegate as needed to maintain quality services rendered in high caseload volume setting
  • Ability to motivate others and remain consistently enthusiastic
  • An independent license in the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) from the USA
  • Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program
