Part Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT,LICSW) needed.

Assumes the lead role in an interdisciplinary team, assisting other disciplines in the team's knowledge of critical social and emotional facets of patient and family comfort.

Schedule: Part Time

Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Other related duties as deemed necessary by the employer or assigned facility.
  • Providers will see geriatric patients for cognitive testing, dementia and therapy services.
  • Knowledge of clinical work theory and practice, skills in clinical assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, group and individual treatment and case management.
  • Meet weekly with clients for counseling.
  • Provide for clients’ needs in an effective, culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with individual and couples counseling preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and operate electronic health records system
  • Licensed in the District of Columbia in one of the following licenses (LPC, LICSW, LMFT)
  • Master’s Degree in a human services related field
