Join Our Team as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California

Seeking Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic services to clients and their families. The position requires providing individual, family group therapy and other clinical services within the office and in field settings to children and their caretakers. Staff will also provide mental health consultation and coordinate linkage and referral services as necessary.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Ability to screen, assess, evaluate and treat consumers with trauma, severe mental health issues or other complex
  • Provide individual and potential family, marriage, and/or group counseling sessions dependent on expertise
  • Provide mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology/Social Work. (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)
  • Must have a license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Counseling (LPCC), Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals affected by mental and behavioral health challenges, with co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment.
  • Experience with children, families, and couples
  • Knowledge of current principles, practices, techniques, and trends in individual and family counseling
