Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

Honor Your Emotions full-time (28 hours per week) LICENSED OR CLOSELY LICENSED CA BBS Registered mental health therapist to join a growing group private practice in Dublin, CA. Medical/Dental benefits are provided for Fulltime employees ONLY. Qualified therapists to provide in person individual, child, couples, group, or family therapy to both private and insurance-based clients. Candidate must be professional, independent, self-motivated, organized, hardworking, and enhance our “chill”, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians.

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST/COUNSELOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Duties would include mental health assessments, diagnosis, therapeutic note writing, and treatment planning using evidence-based therapeutic practices to achieve effective results in psychotherapy.

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST/COUNSELOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum level of education is a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and
Family therapy, Clinical Psychologist, or related fields (MSW or MS/MA minimum). Must be registered with appropriate licensing board and licensed as an LMFT, or LCSW required. Must be in good standing with the CA BBS, and Registration with CAQH. Paneled with Alameda Alliance is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST/COUNSELOR:

  • Excellent clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.
  • Ability to work as a team member and to accomplish tasks supporting the agency’s mission.
  • Execute documents timely and according to legal and ethical state and federal standards.
  • Collaborate with other agencies as needed.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Flexibility in meeting changing priorities as the Group Private Practice grows.
  • Able to function as a part of a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Experience in a wide range of disorders and age groups a plus.

SALARY: $120,000 to $130,000 per year
