Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000 to $105,000 per year

Searching for an alternate to the community mental health grind of high-volume caseloads and high crisis cases? Dayspring may be a great fit for you! Dayspring is currently seeking an enthusiastic Mental Health Clinician to join our teams.

Our current areas of need are:

  • Counselors with experience in mental health treatment and utilizing therapeutic and preventative techniques. (2-3 year of experience)
  • Counselors who work with clients, age minimum of 9 through adulthood
  • This position is open to LMFT(A)s and LMHC(A)s who want to be a part of a supportive group environment.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Having obtained a Master's degree in psychology or counseling related field.
  • Hosting Clinical Intake and Clinical Psychotherapy Sessions
  • Maintaining clinical documentation on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining licensing requirements per state requirements to practice.
  • Attending quarterly team staff meetings.
  • Attending weekly supervision
  • Collaborating with colleagues and actively improving your counseling skills.
  • Efficiently communicating with support staff to maintain business workflow.
  • Being a contributor to the positive energy of our teams

Requirements:

Education:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.

Certifications:

  • Licensed as one of the following: LMHC, LMHC, LMFT, or LMFT
  • Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require long periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Good communication skills and emotional resilience to provide support to patients facing mental health challenges.

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. This range is dependent solely on type of license held and rate of clients regularly seen.
