Position Overview: As a Licensed Therapist with our owner-operated private practice, you will play a critical role in achieving the following primary objectives:

  • Enhancing Client Well-Being: Conduct individual, couples, or group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic services to support clients in acheiving their mental health goals.
  • Client-Centered Care: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring a compassionate and client-centered approach.
  • Collaborating for Better Patient Outcomes: Participate in regular team meetings focused on support and provider development to improve client outcomes.
  • Work a Manageable Caseload: You deserve a manageable caseload to avoid burnout. You will be expected to conduct twenty-eight client visits per work week.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and work with client and team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their mental health goals.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Educate clients on coping mechanisms and strategies to maintain mental health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices in the field.
  • You will enhance your skills over time by adding and improving specialized psychotherapy modalities to your skill set.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related field.
  • Valid Washington State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.

License/Certification:

  • LICSW, LMFT, LMHC (Required)

Experience:

  • Mental health counseling: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.

Additional:

  • Strong customer service and client advocacy skills.
  • Training in Evidence-Based Practices and the ability to proficiently integrate skills to acheive optimal client outcomes.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
