Licensed Mental Health Counselor
We are looking to hire enthusiastic and creative counselors who want to become an integral part of the counseling team and build a caseload so that this can be their primary job.

``` Duties ```

- Provide trauma-informed counseling for individuals, couples, and families.

- Incorporate Christian counseling principles into therapy sessions for clients who desire a faith-based approach.

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

- Provide counseling services to clients as assigned from local churches.

- Be willing to actively engage in community outreach and networking to build case load and develop new referral sources.

- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and clinical counselors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

- Maintain client records and enter progress notes into the EHR in a timely manner.

- Communicate openly with the center director regarding scheduling and availability.

```Requirements```

- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of the Bible and/or Biblical counseling techniques

- Independently licensed in DC or within 200 hours of completing residency.

- Dual licensure in VA or MD is highly desired.

- Trained in EMDR or willing to complete EMDR basic training within 3 months of hire.

- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups.

- Compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $100,000 to $105,000 per year
