Job Overview

The Therapist at Carter Care Therapeutic Services will conduct individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse population facing a variety of challenges. Therapists will work collaboratively with other therapists and staff to create a supportive and empowering environment for healing and growth.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and regularly evaluate treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and treatment goals.
  • Interact with patients in an individual or group setting to build therapeutic alliance and rapport.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to address individual patient needs and achieve treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and submit within 24 to 48 hours of session completion in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or primary care professionals, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of mental health through clinical research and continuing education.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social work, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Must have a valid and active license within the state of CA (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
  • At least 2-3 years experience providing services in a private practice.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and providing inclusive care.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a minimum caseload effectively.
