Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 per year

Job description

This Therapist will join our team and do what they do best; facilitate culturally appropriate healing! Take a deep breath - we are not concerned with how well you recite graduate school textbooks; we are interested in how authentically you connect with your clients in a way that is meaningful and therapeutically relevant to them. As a therapist here, you will provide inclusive mental health services to individuals (adults and/or youth - you decide), families (if you feel called to do so), and groups (if the spirit moves you).

Schedule:

Responsibilities:

  • Providing training and mentoring on mental health issues of this population to professionals and parents in the community
  • Consultation to interdisciplinary team members
  • Providing age appropriate assessments and interventions
  • Leading parent support groups and providing supportive therapeutic environments with special attention to issues of placement and adoption with prenatally substance exposed children
  • Providing temperament counseling for parents

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in behavioral science with 2 years post-licensure and a current relevant BBS designation (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
  • Active Licensed in Social Work, Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • With at least 2-3 years of experience related in any of this field.
  • Strong clinical skills and an ability to manage high stress and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
