Looking for a Full Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Our clinic is looking for a Full time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. We provide services ranging from individual and group therapy to substance abuse assessments and treatment. It’s mental health program takes a recovery-oriented approach to alleviate symptoms and restore emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social well-being.

SALARY:

$120,000 - $130,000 per year and benefits

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
• Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
• Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.
• Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
• Assist clients with discharge planning and conducts care coordination. Works closely with various providers in the region or system to facilitate access to services.
• Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling and, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient setting.
• Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records
• Ability to work independently, self-directed and highly organized
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
