Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 per year

Job description

You provide the clinical expertise, we take care of everything else. The Mental Health Therapist will have competency in delivering services and treatments based of recovery-oriented services, family systems, and evidenced based treatments. Therapist provides consultation and training on psychosocial aspects of human behavior and complex environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, mental health diagnoses, treatment plans and implements short-term counseling using appropriate modalities for patients with issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, domestic violence, behavioral health problems, and psychosocial stressors. Works predominantly within clinic, but may include home visit services.
  • Provides short-term case management services for patients participating in treatment.
  • As a team member, assists with crisis intervention and triage as needed. Crisis intervention includes assessment, de-escalation, and notifying the public mental health crisis response team if necessary.
  • Works with team members to provide follow-up assessment and prevention planning after any crisis, including follow-up with outside agencies.
  • Collaborate with providers and treatment team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience related in any of this field.
  • Clinical license in the state of California one of the following areas: LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LPCC - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), LEP - Licensed Educational Psychologist
  • Open to a flexible schedule including nights and weekend coverage required
