Salary: $100,000 to $105,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and regularly maintains progress notes, closing, and/or transfer summaries on clients and related duties as required.
  • Provides specialized services to the Behavioral Health Department, such as special program coordination and management.
  • Conducts intake interviews with new clients, as well as assesses and/or diagnoses client needs.
  • Conducts individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.
  • Assists in developing community resources for preventive mental health services.

Qualifications:

  • You must have completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Must be up to date on LMHC/LICSW/LMFT requirements and supervision guidelines
  • Two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and mental health services
  • Excellent experience with, and understanding of addiction issues and how these relate to psychotherapy
  • Demonstrate an understanding of addiction, homelessness, trauma, PTS, and other co-occurring disorders.
  • Must have respect for those supervised as well as clients and staff
