Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000
Job Summary:
Our team provides outpatient behavioral health services, these clinics provide services ranging from individual and group therapy to substance abuse assessments and treatment. Its mental health program takes a recovery-oriented approach to alleviate symptoms and restore emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
- Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
- Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.
- Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
- Develops working relationship with leaders in community resource groups, representing the organization at meetings and on various committees that address the social needs of patients.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling
- One of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Must have (2) two years of professional experience.
- Must possess knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and could make independent judgment related to counseling as a direct service is essential.
