Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing counseling services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining detailed clinical records. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within a crisis driven environment with a knowledge base of substance abuse and addiction, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and mental health conditions.
  • Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide education to other members of the team around clients’ psychosocial stressors and needs, to ensure positive outcomes for families
  • Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Document patient medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in this field.
  • Proven experience in providing counseling services to a diverse clientele.
