Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 with full benefits
Key Responsibilities Are:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering the unique needs and challenges of older adults.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account cognitive changes, physical health, and social factors.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, to address geriatric psychiatric conditions.
- Collaborate closely with geriatric psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active and Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and interventions.
- Experience delivering individual and family therapy to older adults.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with elderly patients and their families.
